About the Writer

Once upon a time, Ashley Worrell wrote HR paperwork. In 2022, after becoming a Christian and praying for God to show her that her life still had purpose, she wrote her first novel—The Radiance of the Moon—and hasn’t stopped. A full-time author since 2022 and a 2023 ACFW Genesis semi-finalist, she now writes medieval adventures set in the Scottish isles in her Hebridean Shield series. She lives in upstate South Carolina, where the Blue Ridge Mountains, her family, and her dog/“agent” Sallie Ann keep her rooted
