About the Writer

Carrie Turansky has loved books since childhood, when library visits meant returning home with towering stacks of picture books. Her passion for storytelling began early as well—she wrote her first novel at the age of twelve.

Today, Carrie is the award-winning writer of more than twenty inspirational novels and novellas. Her honors include the ACFW Carol Award, the International Digital Award, and the Holt Medallion.

She and her husband, Scott, live in New Jersey and enjoy spending time with their five grown children and twelve grandchildren. When she’s not writing, Carrie enjoys walking around the lake near her home, tending her flower gardens, cooking for family and friends, and serving in women’s ministry at her church.
