Writer Update
Kimberley Woodhouse is unable to Rendezvous with us this year. We’re sorry to miss this opportunity to spend time with her. Her note is included below. Join us in praying for her family and her continued health.
Dear Rendezvous Family,
I asked for the privilege to be able to share from my heart with you all. With a heavy heart, I am sad to say that I will not be able to attend Rendezvous this year.
I had two major (unrelated) surgeries within 7 weeks in April and May. Both had extensive recoveries. One, was sixteen weeks. The other, I still have 6-12 months to see if the facial nerve will fully function again. We also had a family member in a horrible accident, and then lost two other family members. All of this was after we had just moved my 82-yr-old Mom here with us.
Throughout this time, I’ve felt the Lord’s constant presence and have been reminded to keep my focus on Him.
No matter if I can fully smile again, or if my eye functions normally, I am content in these circumstances and will continue to be. God is so good.
I will miss worshiping with you all. I will miss your faces and your excitement for story. I will miss YOU.
In my absence, would you all do me a favor?
Would you pray about Rendezvous with me – for each person that attends? That hearts will be filled with refreshment and poured out in serving one another, love, and grace. Our love of story brings us together, and it’s such a beautiful thing.
Please know that I am praying for each of you and will do my best not to cry when I think of you all gathering together.
With a heart full of gratitude,
Kimberley Woodhouse

Virtual Gathering Places
Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body. – Proverbs 16:24
Come one, come all to the Rendezvous Community Facebook group! This group is a great place to ask readers and writers about their experience at past events, and it’s open to anyone interested in Rendezvous.
Once you’ve registered for this year’s Rendezvous, you’re ready to connect with fellow 2025 attendees via BAND (this popular desktop or app community platform has email notification capabilities and is linked on the registration form)! Sneak peeks, buddy reads, travel/lodging coordination, important reminders, and frequently asked questions are just a few of the topics we’ll cover in the weeks leading up to this year’s event. We encourage all attendees to connect before and after the event through BAND.
Let us know if you’re familiar with our new addition!
