Thank you for registering to participate in the inaugural JustRead Rendezvous! We hope that this event will sweeten your reading and storytelling experiences with fellowship and encouragement.

The dress code for this event is casual. Wear whatever you are comfortable in (clothing is mandatory, style is optional). The volunteer crew will be in jeans and tees.

Included Opportunities

Consignment Book Sale Information

The Book Bee (sweet reads pop-up shop) is a consignment book sale for all your featured titles (up to 3) submitted during registration. Please let Beth know if you need to update your titles due to the change in circumstances. Quantity is at your discretion. Our consignment fee will be 5% to cover payment processing fees and a small portion of the setup costs. Customers will pay 9.988% sales tax.

Individual authors may not sell books during the event. However, individual book giveaways are permitted during the book signing hour.

The Book Bee Seller Agreement

Sign, and print to bring with you, or blank agreements will be available at registration.

Please follow the instructions below to register, manage your items, and select a check-in time on the consignment management system.

The Book Bee Sweet Reads Pop-Up Shop



Go to (always use this link to sign in)

Click the Create Account button. Enter your information and click the Create Account button.

Under Current Events click TheBookBee/RDV23

Select a seller number. Under How did you hear about us? Select Registered Rendezvous Author

Click the Register me button. Confirm or update your contact information.


Manage Items

Discount and Donate options are disabled.

Click the Add button then select Add (Manual).

Select a category and “size” from the dropdown options.

Enter the book title in Brand(Desc) and any other information such as series, related titles, or publisher in Optional (Series, etc.)

Enter the price and select the number of items you are adding. Click the Add button. 

Repeat for each title/item and click the Close button to finish

If you’d like to experiment with the other Add options, you are welcome to do so. For example, Express tagging lets you quickly print several tags with the same price and no description. Enter the desired price, select how many items you want to add, and click the Add and Print button. 


Print Tags

Once you are finished creating your tags, click the top checkbox (on the left beside Category) then click the Print button. This will automatically generate and download a pdf file of your tags.

Print tags on letter-size white paper or cardstock (8 tags per page).



Select a check-in time. If your situation changes and you need to bring your books to a different check-in time than selected, that is completely fine. Your options are:

  • Ship your books to Beth by November 1
    • Shipping address (ship by November 1):

  • Bring your books to the venue on November 16 at 1:00 p.m. 
    • 1 p.m.-4 p.m. | Cadillac Ballroom
  • Bring your books to the venue on November 17 at 7:00 a.m.
    • 7 a.m.-8 a.m. | Cadillac Ballroom

Your books MUST each have a MyCM barcode tag tucked snugly inside the front cover before shipping or bringing them to the venue. We cannot sell your books without the barcode tags.  



Participation opportunities were emailed to each author on Saturday, November 11. Panel moderators will share topics/questions early this week. Each panel/game features 6 authors so we were not able to include everyone on a discussion panel but audience participation is encouraged (including authors).


Book Signing

Each author will have a space (half of a high-top table) to sign books for readers after 5:00 p.m. on Friday. You are also welcome to hand out swag such as bookmarks, candies, small goody bags, etc. during this time if you wish. A simple sign featuring your photo and featured cover will be provided.



Thursday evening

snacks only (popcorn, pretzels, etc.) Be sure to grab an early evening meal if you plan to visit late.

Giveaway Prizes and Memorial Gifts

Please contact Beth if you would like to send/bring a giveaway prize. Or you can make an advance donation towards the grand prize (all authors and readers are eligible) or Bonnie Roof Memorial Gift Fund ($100 cash awarded to randomly selected reader participants) with the links or mail a check by November 8.

Participant Tote Donations

All Rendezvous participants will receive a tote bag containing donated books and swag from sponsors, donors, and participating authors. Please contact Beth if you would like to send books and/or swag for the totes.

Books can be donated towards the tote bags in any quantity and we will add books from our stash to even up the count if needed. This is a great opportunity to make some room on your inventory shelves.

You may specify your swag as “for reader totes only” if you wish (if your budget allows, we encourage you to contribute to all totes). A total of 170 totes have been ordered.

Current tote count: 41 readers + 31 authors = 72 (final number)

Please consider our volunteers when selecting your swag and keep your contributions to 1 or 2 items. For example, a bookmark, a pen, a magnet, a sticker, and a securely closed goody bag (regardless of contents) would individually count as one item. No limits on books!

Tote contents drop-off deadline is noon on Thursday, November 16 in Room 1 Shelby.
