Read Write Rendezvous is a casual gathering of readers and writers that sweetens reading and storytelling experiences with fellowship and encouragement. Prayerfully honoring the legacy of the Christian Fiction Readers Retreat, this annual event celebrates Christian fiction and sweet reads.

JustRead Publicity Tours invites readers and writers to gather at the fourth annual Read Write Rendezvous in Nashville, TN, on November 7, 2026. The event is specially curated for Christian fiction and sweet-read enthusiasts, sweetening reading and storytelling experiences with fellowship and encouragement. A special invitation is extended to those who attended the first Christian Fiction Readers Retreat to join us in honor of its 10th anniversary.

Readers at Rendezvous

Saturday’s all-day reader and writer gathering on November 7, 2026, will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a break for the evening meal on your own or with book buddies. Corporate worship, positive discussion, and book giveaway opportunities are sprinkled throughout the schedule. Registration fees are listed below and include the following:

• Entry to the event includes corporate worship, designated book-signing times, a speaker session, author panels, small-group discussion, interactive games, a consignment book sale, and the opportunity to meet and chat with authors and fellow readers.
• A light breakfast, mid-morning beverage break, lunch buffet, and afternoon snack and beverage break (evening meal is not included)
• Numerous opportunities to win giveaway prizes donated by authors and sponsors throughout the day
• One entry into the Grand Prize giveaway for the event

Writers at Rendezvous

Rendezvous writers are Christian fiction or sweet reads authors eager to connect with readers and fellow writers in an encouraging roundtable setting. Featured titles are written for an audience of adult or young adult readers. Writers participate in small group discussions, book signings, corporate worship sessions, and more.

Interested Writers for 2026

Published authors interested in participating in this year’s event are encouraged to apply now. Selection is based on broadly representing subgenres and experience levels to create a widely appealing experience for attendees.

Keynote Speaker

We are delighted to welcome USA Today bestselling novelist and one of today’s most popular authors of inspirational historical romance and women’s contemporary fiction, Tamera Alexander, as our 2026 Rendezvous keynote speaker. In 2016, she was one of the first keynote speakers at the Christian Fiction Readers Retreat. Tamera is a member of The Christy Award Hall of Fame, RITA Award and Carol Award winner, and a Nashville resident.
